I’ll be spokesmodeling at the New York Toy Fair this year. A very cool job indeed, though I’m amazed how top secret the toy industry is turning out to be. Let’s just say I’ll be working in some capacity related to the Pixar films “Cars” and “Ratatouille” (the latter is coming out next year, think “Flushed Away” set in France).
My friends and I were stuffing our bellies at Brother Jimmy’s BBQ last night, one of our favorite pasttimes. We noticed that my commercial was airing every few minutes on the TV’s over our heads. I kept trying to see the beginning, but missed myself every time. If you watch ESPN, watch for the blonde with the backpack.
Another surreal moment this week: as I sat in the chair at the hair salon the other day, I looked over and someone was reading “American Salon” with my face on the cover. Well, that would have been no biggie except that I looked at the stack of magazines and there I was on the entire back of something called “Style Source” for a Conair Ad. Strange. I’m starting to spook myself out.
Enough about me, how have you been?

What do you think of the redesigned site? Go to the “contact” page to say hello and let me know what you think! While you’re there, don’t forget to sign up for my mailing list. I vow (hand on heart) to send e-mail blasts only when there’s something cool going on. Here are some of my latest highlights:
American Salon Magazine
Can you believe it– my first National magazine cover! Check it out (above) and there are two additional photos inside the magazine. What an awesome way to start 2007.
Natural Health Magazine
I spent the day lounging with my “hubby” doing what all normal model couples do: shaving his face for him, cutting expensive cheese in the immaculate kitchen and of course reading color coordinated books in bed. Ahh, life in the real world. Watch for those pics in the March issue.
ESPN Promo
Ever wanted to purposely hit a sports broadcaster over the head? Well, I got to do just that with my backpack in the school cafeteria. It was fun for the first few takes, but after a while I think the guy wanted to hit me back.
Cosmopolitan Magazine
I had to star at a male model’s abs all day long for this one. Too bad you can only see my hair and body in the January issue. Maybe because I was craning my head to get a better look.
Today Show
For all of you who aren’t sure how or when to wear leggings, I modeled in a segment devoted to you. How to wear leggings to work, how to wear leggings to a party, how to wear leggings on a date. The leggings craze has never been bigger. Except when I wore them in 3rd grade with a tie die shirt and slouch socks.

Natural Health Magazine & Real Simple Magazine
Check out the October Issues of these two publications to see me smiling at you from the pages! In Natural Health I’m a perky retro woman on page 41 and a dorky skeptic on page 83. In Real Simple I’m a girl with a sense of flexible fashion on pages 156-159.
ESPN Magazine
One of my favorite photo illustraters, Aaron Goodman took my pic for an August issue of ESPN. Check out the results–I’m trapped on a plane full of snakes.
Macy’s
If you were at the Nine West department in Macy’s lately you may have seen me on the televisions modeling the fall lineup for clothing and accessories. Each full outfit change had to be accomplished in about 45 seconds (including jewelry). You can imagine my relief to get through without getting caught half-dressed.
www.CollegeHumor.com
If you are a guy and between 18-30 you may appreciate this tongue-in-cheek skit produced by College Humor. It’s called “Flipping Off Hot Girls” and the title speaks for itself. I have a quick cameo as the politically charged “smart hottie” and of course you’ll have to watch to see if I get flipped off!
Gotham Magazine Event
I was onstage with Julianne Moore to help launch this month’s issue of Gotham Magazine! I was there to help show off the Australian couture fashion and designer pearls. The red carpet experience was blinding but exciting as anything I’ve experienced. It was so cool hearing all the different photographers yelling to get my attention so they could snap a pic. I wonder what it would be like to attend events like that every night? I think my daily naps would become a neccessity to keep me sane!

MY BIRTHDAY!
So I turned 21 (again) this year and man, it’s just as good as I remembered! I moved into a great apartment in Brooklyn with an adorable feline named Stella. I’m absolutely thrilled to come home to locally run restaurants, inexpensive shopping and a park across the street!
Natural Health Magazine
In October you can see me in polkadots choosing between watermelon and tomato in “Natural Health Magazine”. It’s running as part of a story on how to fulfill your daily nutrients while only having foods you enjoy eating.
CBS Early Morning Show
This has been a busy month for me on CBS, appearing a few times on the Early Show. If you are awake between 7:30 and 8:30 AM on Friday August 4th, you’ll see me parading in a brown dress and brown sheer leggings as part of a fall fashion segment.
American Baby Magazine
Subscribers to “American Baby” will be getting some literature in the mail featuring me and my model “husband” drowning in a pile of bills. This was a fun shoot, the art director used her actual Verizon and ConEd bills to decorate a blow-up life saver and then put it over my head!
Real Simple Magazine
I’ll be wearing convertible clothes in the October issue. Dresses that turn into skirts, purses that turn into backpacks… actors that turn into models and back again?
DKNY.com
One of my newest clients, I am now featured regularly on DKNY.com. Check out the women’s clothing pictures and play everyone’s favorite game: “guess which headless girl is Dre!”

ESPN Commercial
In a few weeks you’ll be seeing a hilarious commercial featuring a girl dumping a bottle of Gatorade over her boyfriend’s head in Bloomingdales. I wish I did the drenching myself, but alas I was playing a shopper in the store. The best part was watching the faces of the real customers in the store who didn’t notice the camera equipment and really thought some guy was getting soaked in the shoe department!
Pepsi Event
Every year the folks at Pepsi Headquarters in Westchester, NY hold a meeting with their marketing representatives from around the world. I had the unique opportunity of being a tour guide for a group of 15 top executives from the Latin American Region of Pepsi-Co. I cannot disclose what went on at the event as it is “Top Secret” but let’s just say there was so much soda drinking that a co-worker got nauseous afterwards!
Book cover
Yes, I’m going to be on another Romance novel cover! Look for “The Prince and The Nanny” and I’ll give you $10 if you can tell me which of those two characters I’m playing.
Tarzan workshop
The folks at Disney have commissioned a special workshop for large groups of schoolkids who are going to see the new Broadway musical “Tarzan”. Along with my fellow shipmates, I’m helping to bring these kids on an interactive journey to the Ivory Coast using songs and games. Did you know that 10% of the world’s plant species are found in South Africa?
Dylan’s Candy Bar
This awesome candy store is on the Upper East Side in Manhattan, owned by the super-cool daughter of Ralph Lauren. If you go to visit (I highly recommend you go check out their super sized treats) you’ll see photos of me on large posters chowing down on some delicious treats!
Hamptons Love Heals Benefit
I was scheduled to work an event for the Love Heals foundation in East Hampton. We traveled 3 hours to the location only to find out it was postponed due to the rain. So what do we do when we’re stranded in the Hamptons? Enjoy! We went to the hippest sushi bar in town and treated ourselves to sake and shrimp tempura.
MaxandChloe.com
My friend Jamie has a great website featuring funky and fashion-forward accessories. I will be featured wearing some of the designs on the homepage of the site. My favorite designer on the site is Rachel Leigh. To represent a new independent phase of my life, I’m proudly wearing Rachel’s gold dove called the “Free Flying Necklace.”

DON CHEADLE MOVIE
There is an amazing movie shooting in New York called “Empty City.” Watch for me in the restaurant scene, shot in Grand Central Station. I’m serving lunch to the actors, trying desperately not to trip on the wires running across the floor.
INFINITI VEHICLES
Did you know I’m a spokesperson for the luxurious Infiniti vehicles? If you attended an Auto Show across the country in the past few months you may have seen me on stage. What does being a product specialist mean? Well, it means I’ve been fully trained to be knowledgeable about every vehicle in our 2005/06 line-up. (Pretty impressive considering I had never opened the hood on my car at home until I took this job.) I feel suddenly empowered in this position and my friends laugh at how my eyes light up when I see an Infiniti on the street.
ACCESSORIES, ACCESSORIES, ACCESSORIES
There’s nothing better than getting to try on hats and gloves and jewelry all day. Ok there is something better: getting paid for it. Twice a year there are trade shows open to the buyers from major boutiques and department stores who are looking to fill their shelves with the latest, hottest accessories. I modeled the beautiful headwear designs at the Javits Convention Center and found out I have a slightly smaller than average head. Hope that doesn’t mean the contents of my head are any smaller than normal.
ROMANCE NOVEL
When my Mom took me to the library as a girl I would often sneak over to the romance section to gaze at the sensual book covers. I wondered who these men and women were and why they looked so flushed. I imagined my first kiss would be much like the moments captured in these books. Well I now have the next best thing: my own novel cover. Watch for “Tangled Vows” out next year featuring me on the cover!
50 MOST BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE
I attended the official gala for the 2006 “50 Most Beautiful People” magazine. I was one of four models representing the sponsor, Matrix hair products. I spent most of the evening sneaking off to the VIP section to sneak a look at Enrique Inglesias and to eat chocolate covered strawberries. Yummy!

March turned out to be quite a lucky month for me!
TOMMY HILFIGER
Tommy (yes, first name basis!) hired me to try on his 2007 fall junior line at his Manhattan showroom. I shook his hand and we talked about yogurt. No joke!
ROCK ‘N ROLL
I did a quick shoot for “WorkhorseStudio” which is a funky new company in the East Village with cool t-shirts (see butterfly photo). They will be up on their website soon www.workhorsestudio.com
PRETTY PANTIES
If you ever have $5000 in your pocket and you want a fabulous place to throw a party, try the penthouse suite at the Soho Grand Hotel. This is where I shot the Kura Clothing line, they make flirty, comfortable cotton and silk underwear and tanks. By far the most amazing hotel room I’ve seen, the terrace is bigger than my whole apartment.
ONE LIFE TO LIVE
I was a bride again! This time on One Life to Live. The cast & crew were ‘Oohing and Aaahing’ at my dress and tiara. I think this bridal market is my new favorite job, everyone treats you like royalty, even if they know it’s not your wedding day.
EYE 2 EYE
If you’re getting new glasses this month, you can catch me in an eyewear ad in 20/20 magazine which is in most eye doctor offices.
I hope April showers bring May bookings!

NEW PHOTOS RELEASED!
“GENERATION T” from Workman Publishing
Check out my photos in the book “Generation T” by Megan Nicolay. It’s a funky DIY (do-it-yourself) t-shirt book from the same publishers as “Stitch ‘n Bitch”. Flip through the color section in the middle to see me in various wacky hairstyles and t-shirts! Or if you’re too lazy to get a copy, here are some samples.
