Happy 2006!!!
NY Times
Did you see the full page photo in the New York Times Magazine on December 12th? If you were in the same upstate New York Barnes & Nobles as my Mom, I’m sure you couldn’t help but hear her squeals of delight. It was part of a story on college students getting credit for transcendental meditation in school. Apparantly I rose to the occasion!
HBO Promo
If you watch “Inside the NFL” you may catch me doing a brief touchdown dance in Bryant Park. This is airing as part of a promotional commercial for the show.
Target spa 1/17
I spent the day in my robe and slippers helped Target introduce its new line of spa products. A full body massage, a tub of rose petals, and enough body lotion to last a lifetime. Working hard or hardly working?

WEDDING BELLS ARE RINGING
What’s better than stressing about a real-life wedding? Playing a bride in a photoshoot! The scenario: a New York City couple gets married on a budget. We shot scenes around lower Manhattan including eating Chinese food in our wedding attire.
BIG OOPS: My prop engagement ring fell from the Brooklyn Bridge into midday traffic! Here are photos from the shoot above.
NY TIMES MAGAZINE
Watch for me dressed as a Harvard student levitating in a meditation class in the New York Times Magazine on Sunday 12/11/05!
CBS’s “LOVE MONKEY”
I have been hired as a stand-in for Judy Greer on the new CBS sitcom “Love Monkey.” I get to hang out on set with Jason Priestley and Tom Cavanaugh. My first day on set I was surprised to recognize the costume assistant as a childhood friend of mine!
YOU’RE HIRED!
I was honored to work alongside Donald Trump (yes, it is a wig) and Tony Robbins (yes he really is that tall) at the Learning Annex Real Estate Convention. I was hired as promotional talent, working the crowd of 25,000 real estate investors into a frenzy. My hard work paid off, I was voted “Best Promo Girl”!

CBS EARLY MORNING SHOW
On Wed. 9/21 I appeared on the CBS Early Morning Show in the fall fashion segment! Legendary singer Patti LaBelle was one of the panelists trying to guess if my outfit was a designer or knock-off. The panel unanimously said my dress must be the real thing, proving I look deceivingly expensive.
THE AUDITION PLAY
“…a curious specimen of what could be called reality theater,” says Rob Kendt of the New York Times. This review was written the evening I performed in “The Audition” at the Wings Theatre. The audience voted and I was determined to be a winner of the evening after performing my monologue and scenes.
SELF MAGAZINE
A few weeks ago I was whisked away to gorgeous Bedford Hills, NY. There on a multi-million dollar estate, six models (including myself) pretended to throw a “simple” cocktail party. There’s certainly nothing simple about a crew of fifteen people whose assignment is to fill the house with expensive decor, filet mignon, candles and wine.
CONNECTICUT VACATION GUIDE
For those of you who live in CT or are visiting anytime in 2006, you can pick up a copy of the state vacation guide. Guess who is tandem kayaking inside? It may not be high fashion, but the purple vest with the big yellow whistle sure is flattering!
CHRISTMAS INTERRUPTUS
I’ve been fortunate enough to get the lead role in yet another new musical. This one is called “Christmas Interruptus” (music by Mark William Butler). My character, Holly is so obssessed with the holiday season that she gets a job in the Xmas department at Macy’s. Jingle bells in september seems a little premature.

GLAMOUR MAGAZINE
Two months in a row, you can catch my face in Glamour Magazine. I am going to be featured in a hair story for the October issue. Also, I’ll be eating hungrily from a big white bowl in the November issue.
GOOGLE
After six months of wondering why I’m not cool enough, the Google search engine has finally picked up my website! I guess that means I’ve made it!
FUNNY FRIENDS
Sam Reich, a close friend and designer of my website, is also doing something really cool on the internet. Check out Dutch West (www.DutchWest.tv) for some of the funniest comedic sketches known to man. For a special treat, you can see me in “Chess Bus” which was filmed on location at my Mom’s house. Extra points for those of you who spot the muffin Mom had left on the table for me to eat during filming.

TRADER MAGAZINE
I’m shooting a two-page editorial spread for “Trader Monthly Magazine.” The photographer, James Porto will be digitally transporting me to the Sydney Opera House without ever leaving New York. He sounds very powerful, perhaps I can request a layover on Mars.
FIRST EQUITY PROJECT
“You were lovely, you were just charming.” So said Tom Schumacher, Executive VP for Disney Animation and Theatrical Productions. Tom was referring to my performance in the premiere workshop of the new musical “Rocket Boys.” My character, Valentine, is the tomboy outsider to a group of 1950’s rocket-building buddies. She’s also in love with the hero, Sonny who barely knows she’s a girl. What happens in the end? Well, if the composers have anything to say about it, we’ll have a bright Broadway ending.

MIAMI STRIKE BOWLING RADIO SPOT
If you live in Miami, you will be hearing me on the radio advertising the Miami Strike Bowling Alley. I have a steamy 30 seconds, during which I get very “excited” about the prospect of stepping out in public to unlace my shoes and put my hands on the big ball. Hey, I didn’t write the spot, I only recorded it.
CALLBACK
I had a callback for a birth control national commercial! The casting director Jennifer Vendetti asked me to dance, so I showed off my infamous 80’s dance moves. No word yet on whether she needs a girl who can do the Roger Rabbit and the Running Man.

This past month has been wonderful. The reactions to the site so far have been overwhelmingly positive. My favorite response was from a childood friend (and I quote): “Whoa, you’ve really changed–I didn’t know you had boobs!” Haha The junior high gawky girl in me just squealed with joy!
Last week I shot an industrial video for the American Bar Association to be shown at the national conference this month. If you’re attending this lawyer’s conference, let me know how I did as a 19th century lady! Also, this week I will be shooting a fashion spread for “Generation T.” This book is by the same company that put me in “Stitch ‘n Bitch” so I can expect some really funky shots for my portfolio!

Wow! How cool is it that I have a website?
I’m in rehearsals for “David and Goliath,” a musical based on the Biblical story. We are trying to teach 30 children how to baaaaah like sheep. The show is going on at the beautiful 500-seat Merkin Concert Hall (right by Lincoln Center) on 2/5.
If you go to an eyeglass store or eye doctor in the next month, you will see me wearing BCBG eyeglasses on the February cover of “Vision Care Product News Magazine.”
I just moved into an amazing apartment on the east side of Manhattan. Now that I have a space to call my own, I’m amazed at my inner Martha Stewart who has emerged (minus the jail time). Suddenly, I’m excited about going to Bed Bath & Beyond!
Hope you enjoy stopping by this website as it developes! It’s going to be quite a journey…
